The San Roque Children’s Club which is managed and staffed by Scott Dunn’s qualified nannies is situated in one of the Haciendas.

Entry is through a central courtyard with the main room to one side consisting of a large, airy playroom and creative room.

A smaller quieter room and bathroom is beyond, with a sleep room on the opposite side of the courtyard.


The club has its own enclosed garden containing a paddling pool.

With the exception of the Starfish Club, children’s meals take place in the El Bolero restaurant in the main hotel.

Children belonging to the Starfish Club and children cared for by private nannies are catered for in the club.

   

Scott Dunn Children’s Club facts:
 Club hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm, 6 days per week (closed Wednesdays)
NB: The children's club must be pre-booked for a minimum of 6 days.

Baby Specialist: 4 months - 8 months

  • Cost: £350 for 1 baby or £500 for 2 babies per week
  • Available: 23 May to 22 September
  • Includes: Freshly prepared purees for lunch and tea, drinks. Selection of toys and equipment. Based within the quieter confines of your Hacienda. Available on a first come first served basis.

Starfish Club - 8 months to 2 years

  • Cost: £235 per child per week
  • Available: 23 May to 22 September (closed in peak season*)
  • Includes: Mid morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, tea and drinks, all activities and facilities within the club.
  • Example activities: nature walks, face painting, fun in the paddling pool
  • *Between 14 July and 01 September a private nanny service will only be available for this age group. The private nanny costs £350 for 1 child or £500 for 2 children per week.

Dolphin Club: 3 years - 5 years

  • Cost: £210 per child, per week
  • Available: 23 May to 22 September
  • Includes: Mid morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, tea and drinks, all activities and facilities within the club.
  • Example activities: ball games, treasure hunts, kite flying

Shark Club: 6 years - 8 years

  • Cost: £185 per child, per week
  • Available: May half-term and 14 July - 01 September
  • Includes: Mid morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, tea and drinks, all activities and facilities within the club. Some activities outside the club may incur an additional cost.
  • Example activities: volley ball, beach trips, scavenger hunt

Barracuda Club: 9 years to 13 years

  • Available: May half-term and 14 July - 01 September
  • Includes: Mid morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, tea and drinks, all activities and facilities within the club. Some activities outside the club may incur an additional cost.
  • Example activities: tennis competitions, beach games, horse riding

Summary of San Roque Club Facilities

The centrepiece is a magnificent mansion, formerly the home of the Domecq sherry dynasty, now converted into a beautifully designed hotel.

Among courtyards and moorish arcades blooming with a variety of colourful flowers are 50 suites and attached double rooms, known as haciendas. Although the rooms would benefit from being updated, they are all spacious, light, airy and have good sized private terraces, perfect for famililies.

Golfers will delight in the opportunity to play on the club's spectacular course. The course winds through woods giving superb mountain views, rolling hills and around the resort's beautiful lake. Dining at San Roque is also a pleasure whether you choose to dine in one of the restaurants or out on one of the terraces.
